Heart of a Herofirefighter

We can see what is in your heart - but is it functioning properly? The hardworking servicemen and women in our Dallas area communities are heroes in the eyes of Southwest Diagnostic Imaging Center. To honor their contributions, we offer deeply discounted non-invasive preventative health screening procedures to public servants and their spouses, providing special educational programs for communities who sign up for our services.

It is not surprising to learn that many of our brave firefighters and police officers lose their lives in the line of duty - but these men and women face more risks than exposure to fire and heat or dangerous situations. Our public servants are also at increased risk for heart attacks, which can be triggered by exertion, stress, and smoke inhalation. Regular preventative screenings and wellness programs can help prevent these deaths and ensure healthier lives for those who protect and save the lives of others every day.

Through the Heart of a Hero program, we offer the following Computed Tomography Scans (CT), formerly known as CAT scans, at discounted rates:

  • CT Scan - Coronary Calcium Scoring
  • CT Scan - Lung Cancer Screening
  • CT Scan - Abdominal Screening
  • CT Scan - Pelvic Screening

Results will be provided to employees' personal physicians. For communities interested in our health screening programs, we will provide educational fliers and convenient scheduling online or by phone.
